Asking questions

Example questions for the assistant, grouped by area, plus location pins and dates like "next Friday".

All plans

You do not need special words. Ask the way you would ask a person, and add a detail or two (a day, a brand, a truck) when you have one. These examples are for owners and managers; crew can ask about their own shifts, see Telegram for crew.

Schedule

  • "What's on today?" / "What do we have this weekend?"
  • "Find the Lakeside Church event." (searches titles, notes and addresses)
  • "Who's working the Saturday festival, and which truck?"
  • "What's the contact for my next event?"
  • "Does anything have no truck assigned this week?"

Weather

  • "What's the weather at our next event?"
  • "Forecast for Friday's events?"
  • "It's going to be 95 tomorrow. How did we sell on hot days like that before?"

Drive times

  • "How long from the warehouse to the 4 pm event?"
  • "When do we need to leave to be set up by 10 at Oak Park?"

Drive times are measured with real routing for the time of day. The assistant never estimates one from memory.

With the Intelligent Dispatcher you can also ask "Can we take a two-hour booking Saturday at 3 near downtown?" and get an answer that checks every truck's day.

Sales and money

  • "How much did we sell yesterday?" / "How did we do last week?"
  • "How did the Riverside Elementary event do?"
  • "Sales last month by brand." Other groupings work too: by truck, by ZIP code, by organization category, by day of the week.
  • "Who were our top customers this quarter?"
  • "Is the Henderson wedding paid?" (invoice status and balance)
  • "How is the Johnson picnic priced?" (the arrangement, the actuals and what is still owed)

Sales answers use the same numbers as the Reports pages.

Customers and leads

  • "Find Maria Lopez." (by name, email or phone)
  • "Who are our regulars?" / "Which regulars haven't been back in 60 days?"
  • "What's in my pipeline?" / "Show me quoted leads."
  • "Add a note to the Garcia lead: they want vegan options."

Crew

  • "Who's available Saturday afternoon?"
  • "Who should work the Friday night event?"
  • "Put Jordan on Sunday's market." / "Take Sam off Tuesday."
  • "Any pending time-off requests?"
  • "Draft next week's crew schedule."

Trucks

  • "Where are my trucks?" / "Where's Truck 2 right now?" (needs a Bouncie tracker)
  • "Where did Truck 1 go last Thursday?"

Permits and documents

  • "Which permits expire soon?"
  • "Show the health inspections for Truck 1."
  • "What's missing for the permit renewal?"
  • "Is 123 Main Street inside our territory?" This is for your information only; territories never stop you from booking anywhere.
  • "We're out of mango, 86 it." / "Mango is back."
  • "Today's special on the taco truck is birria tacos."

Telling it things to remember

  • "Remember that the Elm Street school wants us at the back lot."
  • "Forget what I said about the back lot."

Dates

Say dates the natural way: "today", "tomorrow", "Friday", "next Friday", "this weekend". The assistant works out the actual date in your business's time zone, and every event it lists carries its weekday and date ("Friday, 2026-06-12") so you can check it at a glance.

Share a location pin

In Telegram, tap the attachment button and share your location (or a place) with the bot. The assistant replies with the address, the weather there, any severe weather alert, and your events nearby. It is a quick "where am I and what's around" check from the road.

Photos and voice notes

Send a photo with a caption, for example a picture of a leaking hose with "water leak on Truck 2", and it is filed with the incident it reports. You can also send a voice note instead of typing.

Suggestion buttons

Many answers end with buttons suggesting a follow-up question. Tap one and it is sent as your next message.
