Sales
How a booking moves from the first message to a paid invoice, and where each step lives in CurbsideOps.
Sales in CurbsideOps follows one booking from the moment a customer reaches out until the last invoice is paid. Every step hands its facts to the next one, so you type the date, the place and the price once and they follow the booking all the way through.
- 1
Lead
An email, text or call becomes a lead. The assistant collects the date, place and headcount.
- 2
Proposal
Send a quote built from your pricing. The customer accepts online and can pay a deposit.
- 3
Booked event
Book it: the event lands on your calendar with the customer and pricing attached.
- 4
Event sales
After the event, record what you sold. Package and minimum math is done for you.
- 5
Invoice
Send a Square invoice for the balance. Paid, overdue and unpaid show everywhere.
How a booking flows
- A lead arrives. An email, a text, a call, your website inquiry form or a lead you add by hand becomes a lead on the Leads page. When the assistant reads the conversation, it fills in the date, the place and the headcount for you. Anything you type yourself always wins over what it found.
- You send a proposal. Build a quote from one of your pricing arrangements (Menu, Package or Minimum, or one of your own). The customer opens a link and accepts online, and Square emails them the deposit invoice.
- The event is booked. Book it puts the event on your calendar with the customer, the brand and the pricing already attached. Agreements that went out with the proposal come along too.
- You record the sales. After the event, open the event's Sales form and enter what happened. The arrangement does the math: a package's price, a minimum's shortfall, a service charge, tax.
- You invoice the balance. Send a Square invoice for what is still owed, with any deposit already credited. Paid, partially paid, unpaid and overdue show the same way on every screen.
Customers and organizations sit underneath all of this. Every lead, proposal, event and invoice is linked to a customer record, so the customer's page shows their whole history with you.
