Troubleshooting

Fixing a connection

Where to see the health of Square, Gmail, Google Calendar, Quo, Bouncie and your other connections, and how to reconnect one.

Every connection is checked automatically every 15 minutes. When one needs you, it says so in two places: a warning on Today naming the connection, and its status on the Integrations page.

Read the status

Open Settings, then Integrations. Each connection shows one of these:

StatusMeansWhat to do
WorkingAll good.Nothing.
Sign in againThe sign-in expired or access was removed on the other side.Press Reconnect and sign in.
Can't reach it right nowThe service did not answer the last check.Usually clears by itself. Press Check again later.
Needs a stepConnected, but one setup step is left.Press Finish setup.

Check again at the top of the page runs every check right now. Manage opens a connection to see its details, reconnect it or disconnect it.

Square

Square sign-ins renew themselves: CurbsideOps refreshes them in the background, so you should not need to reconnect every month. You only see Sign in again if access was actually removed, for example the app was disconnected in your Square dashboard or the Square account changed.

  • Reconnect: press Reconnect and sign in to Square with the same account.
  • Pick your Square location: if a brand has more than one Square location, this step tells CurbsideOps which register belongs to that brand.
  • Reconnect Square to take pre-paid orders: taking card payments for Pre-Pay Orders needs two more Square permissions. If you connected Square before Pre-Pay Orders, this step asks you to reconnect once.

Gmail and Google Calendar

These are two separate connections. When one shows Sign in again, press Reconnect and sign in with the same Google account. On Google's screen, leave every box ticked; if any are unticked, CurbsideOps does not connect, because it could not do what it listed.

If Google says the account is already connected for another brand, connect it once with All brands instead. See Connect Google Calendar and Gmail and, for calendar sync problems, Calendar not updating.

Quo (texting)

Quo connects with an API key you create in Quo. If the key was deleted or replaced in Quo, texts stop sending: create a new key in Quo (Settings, then API) and paste it into the Quo connection.

Let replies come in is a one-time step that lets customer replies and STOP requests reach CurbsideOps. If texts go out but replies never show up in Messages, finish that step.

Bouncie (truck tracking)

Bouncie sign-ins are short-lived, and CurbsideOps renews them automatically. If the connection shows Sign in again, press Reconnect and sign in to Bouncie.

HubSpot and Zernio

  • HubSpot: reconnect by signing in again. Your customers in CurbsideOps are not affected while it is disconnected.
  • Zernio: connects with an API key. If posts stop publishing, create a new key in Zernio and paste it in, then check Choose where each brand posts.

Telegram

If the Telegram connection shows a problem, see Telegram not replying.

Still not working?

Email support@curbsideops.com with the connection's name and what its status says. Turning on Support access under Business Settings lets support look at your account for the next 24 hours.
