Creative policy
Choose per brand whether drafts may use AI-composed scenes, start from your approved library photos with AI text, or use your photos untouched.
Many franchise programs do not allow AI-invented pictures on social media. The creative policy lets each brand follow its own rules. It decides what the AI may produce when it drafts a post for that brand.
The three options
Open the brand's settings, stay on the General tab and find AI creatives. Click one of the three cards. It saves right away.
| Option | What a draft looks like | Image credits |
|---|---|---|
| AI scenes (the default) | A new scene composed for the post, using your logo, truck and product photos as references. Best for independent trucks. | Used |
| Library photo + AI text (marked Franchise-safe) | One of your library photos, kept as it is, with the event's text designed onto it and light polish. No invented scenes. | Used |
| Library photo only (no AI) (marked Zero AI) | Your photo, completely untouched, with the event text drawn on top by CurbsideOps. No AI image model touches the picture. | None |
How the library options work
With either library option, every draft starts from one photo in that brand's photo library. CurbsideOps picks the photo that best fits the event from its tags and description, so keep the library stocked with approved truck, product and scene photos for variety.
A few things change with the library options:
- Posts stay square unless you ask for another shape. A photo of a different shape is cropped to fit, never redrawn, so the post shows your approved photo and not a lookalike.
- Styles are not used: the event text goes on the photo itself.
- Telegram marks these drafts as library photos so you can tell them apart.
- Captions are not affected. The policy is about pictures, not words, and captions still follow the brand's caption voice.
Library photo + AI text keeps the photo but lets the AI design the headline, day and place onto it. You still approve every draft, so check that the result looks like your approved photo before you publish.
Library photo only (no AI) is the strictest option and uses no image credits.
The rule is checked when the image is made
The policy is read at the moment an image is made, not when it was requested. If you change a brand to a library option, a draft that was already waiting in line is made under the new rule.
Other places the policy applies
- Campaigns: a library brand's holiday posts start from its library photos too, with the headline and tagline added. See Campaigns.
- Reels: Library photo + AI text brands get gentle camera or background motion only, and Library photo only brands get a slow pan and zoom over the photo with text, with no AI video. See Reels.
- Menu photos you enhance for your menu are not social posts and are not covered by this setting.
Co-branded images: only when you ask
If you run more than one brand, every draft belongs to one brand: its logo, its truck, its products, its caption voice and its social accounts. A draft never mixes in another brand's photos.
You can still get one image that shows two brands together, but only when you ask for it in so many words: "one image with both brands", "a combined post", "co-branded". If your request could go either way, for example "both brands will be at the fair", the assistant asks whether you want one post per brand (the usual choice) or one combined image, and makes nothing until you answer. It never offers a combined image on its own.
A co-branded image:
- Is only possible when every brand in it uses AI scenes. A library brand's rules do not allow a scene with another brand in it, so the assistant offers one post per brand instead.
- Shows each brand's own truck and logo, side by side.
- Is written in the first brand's voice and names every brand in the caption.
- When approved, publishes to the first brand's accounts and then to each partner brand's accounts.
