Marketing ideas

The Marketing Director suggests what to post each week from your own calendar, sales, reviews and local events, and finds nearby organizations that could book you.

Premium or the AI Marketing add-onOpen in CurbsideOps

The Marketing Director is the part of CurbsideOps that thinks about what to post. Each week it reads your upcoming events, your sales, your reviews, how your recent posts did and what is happening nearby, then suggests ideas for the next two weeks. Every idea says who it is for and why now, and points to the facts behind it. Nothing is made until you pick an idea.

Getting ideas

  • Every Monday: turn on the Weekly Marketing Ideas automation and, in each brand's Marketing tab, Weekly ideas for this brand. Up to 8 ideas arrive per brand.
  • Whenever you want: on Ideas, type a question such as "How do I get more school bookings this fall?" and click Ask, or leave it empty and click Get fresh ideas.
  • From Telegram: ask the assistant what you should post.

A run uses AI Credits only when ideas arrive. If it does not finish, nothing is charged.

Working with ideas

Pick a brand at the top. Each idea card has:

  • Make image or Make reel: adds the idea to your campaign calendar. It is made on its day and sent to you for approval like any campaign post.
  • Dismiss: tell the Director why (optional). Similar ideas stay away for a while.

Ideas are grounded in your data. A fact the Director cannot point to is dropped, public text only uses dates, prices and places from your calendar and menu, and customer names never appear in anything that would be posted.

Insights

Some cards are insights: something the Director noticed in your numbers, such as which kind of event sells best on weekdays. An insight can carry one or two buttons that act on it:

  • A plan button, such as Plan community posts: a short focused run that suggests posts for that insight. The new ideas say which insight they came from.
  • A search button, such as Find HOAs and churches nearby: searches for those kinds of organizations near you.

The card shows how the follow-up went, such as "Planned 3 posts", with a button to view the results.

Click Noted when you have read an insight. If you think it is wrong, dismiss it and choose This is not accurate, Not useful to us or We already knew this, with an optional note. The Director reads your note on its next run and stays off that topic for a while. Noted, dismissed and replaced insights are kept under What we have learned.

Prospects: new business nearby

Switch to Prospects to see New business nearby: schools, neighborhoods, youth leagues, churches, offices and local events that could book you, ranked by how well they fit. Click Find prospects to search now (the button shows the cost in credits). The Monday run also adds a few.

  • What it looks for depends on what you sell. A coffee truck sees offices, hospitals and churches; a shaved ice truck sees schools, youth leagues and neighborhoods. Audiences you list in your marketing profile come first.
  • Where it looks is your brand's territories. Without territories, it uses the areas of your recent events, and offers Use these as my territories.
  • Current customers are left out. A place you have worked before shows Worked here with a count, as a chance to reconnect.

Each prospect says why it fits and a suggested first move. Add to leads puts it on your Leads page. Draft an intro email writes a short email and call notes in your brand voice for you to send yourself.

Suggest only

The Director never contacts anyone. It does not send emails, texts or messages to prospects or customers. You choose who to contact and you send it yourself.

The brand's Marketing tab

In each brand's settings, the Marketing tab holds the Marketing profile the Director plans from: Who you sell to, What you post about, Signature products, Where you operate, Marketing goals, How often to post, What makes you different and Never do this. Click Draft it for me for a first version built from your calendar, menu and customers, edit it, then Save and approve. The same tab has the reel style settings (see Reels).

On a draft in Post drafts, Improve asks the Director to review that one draft and suggest changes such as Rewrite caption or Regenerate with this, each applied in one click.
