Event Reports

After each event your crew fills in a short report from their phone, and you get the summary on Telegram. Build the form yourself.

Professional and PremiumOpen in CurbsideOps

Event Reports tell you how an event went without a phone call: how many cups were sold, what ran low, whether anything broke. Shortly after each event, the assigned crew gets a link on Telegram to a form you designed. They fill it in on their phone, and you get the summary as soon as they submit.

Turning it on

Build your form

Open Event Reports under Team and click Edit form. Add the questions you care about (see below), then click Publish.

Turn on the automation

In Automations, turn on Post-Event Report. It needs Telegram and Google Calendar connected.

Choose the timing

Set Send to how long after each event ends the link goes out (10 minutes to 1 hour), and Send reminder for crew who have not filled it in yet, or No reminder.

What your crew sees

The Telegram message carries a link that opens the form on their phone, with no login. The event name, date and time, and the truck and location are filled in already. Each link works once and expires after a day, so a report cannot be sent twice.

Building the form

The form builder has three parts: the field types on the left, your form in the middle, and the settings for the selected field on the right. On a phone, the field types and settings open from the bottom of the screen.

Field types:

  • Short Text and Long Text for answers in words.
  • Number for counts, with an optional Min and Max.
  • Dropdown (pick one) and Checkboxes (pick several), with your own Options.
  • Star Rating and Yes / No.
  • Repeatable Group for a set of questions answered more than once, such as one row per flavor that ran out, with Min Rows and Max Rows.
  • Section Header and Description to organize the form and add instructions. These are not questions.

For each question you can set the Label, Help Text, a Placeholder and whether it is Required.

The top of the form always includes Staff Name, Event Name, Date & Time and Truck / Location. They are filled in automatically, so you never add them yourself.

Use Preview to see the form as your crew will, Save Draft to keep working, and Publish to make it the form that goes out.

Changing the form later

Each publish is a new version. Reports already submitted keep the version they were filled in on, so changing a question never scrambles an old report. The report page shows which Version it used.

Reading reports

When someone submits, you get a Telegram summary of their answers with a button to open the full report.

The Event Reports page lists every report under All submissions: who sent it, which events it covers, when, and its highlights. Click View for the whole report: Submitted By, Date, Form, Version and every answer under Responses. Print / PDF gives you a copy for your files.

Reports are not sales

Cup counts in an Event Report are what your crew wrote down. Your sales figures still come from Square and the event's Sales form, so the two can differ. See Event sales and invoices.
